  • Ring Mountain rises above this 365-acre park and natural area on the banks of Little Joshua and Allen Creeks.
  • Active and passive recreation areas offer many opportunities to have fun and enjoy nature.
  • The extensive natural surface trail system provides walking or hiking enthiusiasts with varied ascents and descents through multiple ecosystems and habitats.
  • The park's ADA approved trail winds through the active recereation area. Enjoy views of Joshua Creek lake and learn about the park's natural resources and history while strolling along the granite surface trail.
  • Two chimney swift towers provide nesting sites for these beneficial aerial acrobats.
  • Three bluebird trails provide 18 nest boxes to shelter migrating Eastern bluebirds and native Texas species.
  • Bring field glasses and a birding book to identify numerous species seen in the preserve.
  • Covered and shaded picnic tables are placed along the banks of the lake.
  • Designated fishing areas allow anglers to test the waters.
  • Two age-progressive play areas keep little kiddoes entertained.
  • Birthday and party pavillions may be reserved.
